“Geweldige dag gehad! Onze gids was Michael die ons van alles vertelde over de omgeving en de plekken waar we kwamen, en over Sri Lanka in het algemeen. Hij weet ook alle mooie plekjes te vinden en er was genoeg ruimte voor fotomomentjes. Op de heenweg gingen we o.a. naar Ramboda Falls, het was de inspanning van de klim ruimschoots waard. Wat is het daar mooi! In Nuwara Eliya bezochten we de postoffice, deden een toertje rond het meer en gingen we lunchen en nog een beetje rondlopen. Op de terugweg hadden we helaas veel regen waardoor we wat minder van de omgeving konden zien. Maar al met al was…”
